THE DEGRAEF
SCENICRUISER PAGE
Joel DeGraef, of AUTO SPECIALTIES in Modesto, CA has purchased a GM 4501 and is going
to restore it to the original Greyhound colors and Logo. I will follow his progress and have
new pictures as he goes along. At this time the bus is in perfect condition but painted in
Guiton Charter colors The bus will be stripped of paint and redone in Greyhound original
colors. Check back frequently and watch it's transition to becoming a Greyhound Bus again.

Joel and son, Colt, are removing the bus from spot on left side of picture where it had been parked for years.
IT'S A GREYHOUND AGAIN!!!!!

WE HAVE THE SEATS FOR JOEL'S BUS. THEY ARE GREYHOUND SEATS BUT NOT OUT OF A
SCENICRUISER. jOEL, BEING THE MAGICIAN THAT HE IS, HAS ALL THE NECESSARY
EQUIPMENT TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO FIT AND THEY HAVE AGREED TO DO SO..
WHAT WE NEED NOW ARE THE OVERHEAD BAGGAGE RACKS FOR THE DOWNSTAIRS
PORTION OF THE BUS. I JUST SPOKE WITH JOEL AND HE SAID SOMEONE DOWN IN
ARIZONA (HE THINKS) HAD THE RACK ON THE LEFT SIDE (DRIVER'S SIDE). JOEL SAID HE
HAS LOST THE PHONE NUMBER OF THAT PERSON SO IF YOU WERE IN TOUCH WITH JOEL
ABOUT THIS RACK, PLEASE CONTACT HIM AGAIN AS HE DEFINATELY WANTS IT.
JOEL HAS THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUS JUST ABOUT FINISHED AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE
PICTURES BELOW SO NOW HIS ATTENTION IS TURNED TO THE LOWER FLOOR OF THE BUS.
IF YOU HAVE ANY PART OF THESE RACKS GIVE JOEL A CALL OR E-MAIL HIM.
Felix Kalin, one of the Retireed Drivers in the Stockton Retirees Club has donated the chrome
dog that is located on the little plate below the windshield. I am donating the sign that goes
inside above the winshield that says:
YOUR OPERATOR
safe-reliable-courteous

THIS IS WHAT THE UGLY GUITON CHARTER BUS LOOKS LIKE NOW. ALL IT TOOK TO
TRANSFORM THIS BABY INTO A THING OF BEAUTY WAS TIME , SOME MAGIC , AND
MORE TIME. THEN SOME PAINT AND SOME MONEY-----SOME MORE MONEY AND THEN
SOME MORE MONEY. iN FACT. DID I MENTION COSTING A LOT OF MONEY?
